The Taliban military took over Kabul in September 1996. The Taliban had ordered all girls and women in Afghanistan to stay inside their homes. They even forbade girls to go to school. So Parvana and her sister had to give up school life. Afghanistan had been in war for about 20 years. Parvana and her family moved from their bombed house and found another safer house to stay in. They couldn't take everything they had so they talk the important gear they needed. Parvana would go to the market with her father hiding herself to go read to men who needed help with reading. This is the only way of getting their family money to survive and feed their children. One day Parvana's father was arrested by the Taliban so Parvana worked for her family and had to act and dress like a boy to help her family survive.

To kill a Mockingbird is a novel by Harper lee and it was published in 1960. It is about a black man that gets accused for raping mayella. His name is Tom robinson and he is innocent! Atticus and his children are on his side and they are trying there best to fight for him. Tom is close to Atticus's children,they reckon hes a really hardworking man. Mayella  is a  really crazy women and her father helps her in court even though he knew she was lying! Tom is a black man who is hardworking but they never listened to him because he's black.
